Congratulations to all casters - the best day in terms of distance with monofilament we have ever had - fantastic work.

For Zac - 195 at your age is awesome.

Well done to Andrew putting 60 metres on previous pb.

Leigh Robinson - congratulations for your brilliant fixed spool casting.

We will also be posting a video clip of young Zac who has only been distance casting for 2 months.

Look out all you old blokes!.

    Regards

Great report JPS. Say well done to young Zac as that is a fantastic achievment at his age.

      Jim ,

I will pass on the words of encouragement to Zak and I know that he will appreciate it. He is a top class caster as all of his distance were achieved via off the ground casts and gear borrowed from me.
With only an afternoon session before the comp he has acquitted himself excellently.
Hope to see a few more young people get inspired from his results.

      Regards

hello Sless long time no speak , we are ok up here the main building work is just about done getting nearer decorating and carpeting . I went boat fishing last week out of portpatrick the sea was realy rough I had a couple of haddock ,codling ,grey gurnards ,doggies, pollock and mackerel and pouting before the trip was blown off .one of the guys Barry( the Bugeler) Neeson did plenty of groundbaiting for us which made the roller coaster trip a good laugh . I had the chance of living in australia a lot of years ago and I knocked it back ,I had just come back from living in africa for three years and had enough of the warm weather .
