Lads can anyone tell me if this is anygood for field casting? bought of ebay years ago thinking it is ideal for the tornament day's, never used till now but i think the spools too small to hold enough line though. photo's added thanks in advance

Its an ultra mag 1 with a conversion done its a superb reel once set up for the little leads 50g and 75g on 0.25 mm line . I know Brim uses one at the NWSA and has had some huge distances on those 2 leads with it 200+ with the 50g and 250+ with the 75 g but its right on its limit for line even with a humped spool . Once you go to 0.28mm for the 125 g it doesnt hold enough .
Thanks for that bob, you saved me tinkering with it then.. shame really as it is a cracking little reel ,far to much engineering to use for a spinning reel but that's what the intention must have been eh?
