Anyone use a baseball/hockey ball to practise casting with?

Have a look at this link Davey. Would imagine there's lots of different ways to do it but when I had one I followed this set up, dead easy and had no probs with it.

I watched Danny Moskrop use a hockey ball when he did his demonstration at the Angling & Boat Show. It beats pulling leads out and easier to see. If its good enough for the world champ, its good enough for me. I doubt i will ever cast as far as Danny but I keep trying.As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.Comment
