I'd like to start this thread by saying:
My name Rob, I've been learning from this forum link tournament casting section for a while. I don't normally post anything at all but I do read this site very often. I find the whole site "NESA" spot on!
At this point, I feel I am ready to ask questions and listen to debates on different styles of casting. Now on NESA there are not as many knowledgeable casters on this site as there has been previousley.
I have followed the thread ' Weights, Lines and Diameters' since it started. From what I can see there is nothing wrong with the discussion at all apart from the name calling, which is not on!
Fair do to the moderators for warning people for that. What I can see is a lot of very knowledgeable casters have been banned for having an opinion. Which brings me back to trying to learn. I need to see this kind of topic discussed on 'weights lines and diameters' so I can try them myself some time in the future. I'd also like to say its the best topic I've read on here for a long time. It's brought a lot of attention from all over the country from what I can see. I'm going to my first casting competition on Sunday. I'd say I'm a novice, but I'm going to give it a go.
I suppose I'm trying to ask the moderators ' let the knowledgeable casters back on ! '
Why not !
Digger
Look forward to meeting you all !
Rob
