      yes the 100gm and 125gm are a concern when the wind direction is in the wrong direction , but we simply won,t allow any one to use them if there,s a risk to public safety,period.
      All NESA members are responsible people, if any caster thinks he can over run these rules/safety precautions, he will be asked to stop casting. Kirkleatham show field is a public field and NESA, being in the past or now ,cannot police any practice sessions at kirkleatham, but the guys who use it on Thursday evenings,practice,tuition etc are NESA members and are very safety minded guys.

      I spoke to Peter Thain (the top caster) last year and he advised me not to use Kirkleatham show field as the venue,his opinion and advice was very helpfull and was taken on board ,so many SAFETY countermeasures are now in place.

      Yes John ,you did kick my ass to get get NESA up and running, for which I,m gratefull, we have a good club now which has attracted some highly respected names in the game , and it,ll continue
