NESA attracted casters from as far as Scotland ,Nw England,Wales and East Anglia making it one of our biggest events so far.
A Buzz was in the the air from the start with some top names attending the event, some very competitive casting . Conditions were 17-22mph Sw winds gusting the 40mph at times, favourable but often very difficult to cast in.
New Members Steve Boyt, Garry Blanchard ,Lee Adams and Scottish Supremo Ian Graham battled it out till the very end . Watching these guys was truly awesome and a pleasure to watch by all present. Thanks for a great competion. Steve Boyt from East Anglia dug in till the end and won the event ,also breaking 2 club records on the 150 & 200gm lump,well done Steve and well deserved mate.
PB's for Welshman Pete Roberts smashing the 260yd mark ,"The Apprentice "Jamie Blakeman ,John"moses"Walker and newcomer Ian Gillies which was his first time on the oche ,well done guys.
Pete Ingham dabled with the 18gm plug (this looks like fun) establishing a club record of 115yds,well done Pete .
