      Very true Paul,But I was trying to make contact with some of the casting lads on here, but seems neebodys about just bushweed blowing down street.

        Paul,Dont think so mate looks like westleys for weekend so sea will be as flat as a J;ps face as Billy Smailes would say.
        Its a pity because years gone Lynemouth would compete with the rockend kelp pullers and the flatty bashers but this year its just not fishing as it would have done.
        We all know some of the reasons why,but I still believe there's other causes why its not as productive as it should be.
        The Amble Open is without doubt one of the best Opens in the northeast to fish,its very well run and always a good prize table.Hats off to the organisers.
        The fishing boundarys cover all fishing ground from rock,kelp,flat clean sandy beaches,estuarys(lower)steep x pit waste beaches.
        The winning bag will be.......
        single heavist fish will be .....
        I think flats will win, go for it mate.

              now H,
              how do you fancy kirkleatham tomorrow theres a good wind forecast might be just the job for a couple of old veterans might even get john robson there what do you reckon

                  depends who i am casting with dos,nt it might go down for jersey comp. dave i cast at uksf about 1985 granted not a great caster am i bothered no do i want to be top dog no. do i ever brag about casting no . do i ever help anybody no. ask norman or harry how lg we have been casting.
                  harry, norman ,myself have cast at such places as hartlepool two diff venues/ kirkleathem/driffield/ east halton/ barrow in furnass/ liverpool/ to name but a few venues, we learnt casting to help our catch rate on colliery beaches got the tea shirt etc
                  will i post on this sect ever again you got to be joking ,this sect had a opportunity to thrive but was spoilt
