hi bazz ,yes a difficult one but were does the answer lie, actualy kellands cast of 300yds plus years ago with 175grm lead not just the one cast but a few was at a sea angler organised casting comp hence it was said it was,nt a wr. it looks to me as if everything is getting to complicated these days like all these european laws.off topic a little here but is there a record for the 125lead on the ,31dia line its just i might go for it .what are the records for nesa just to give me summit to aim for

i think youre better of aiming to get yourself to a torny cant see why records aren't allowed as long as uksf guide lines are followed. still it was the same for us having to travell all the way down there every year, peters was a good idea of having regional tourny's and the final down there. to no avail!!!!

The UKSF Commitee have requested a copy of the paperwork from the event. Records made at UKSF events need to follow certain criteria (Measuring etc) and it would be foolish for these not to have been followed and a record accepted as it would leave it wide open for criticism.

              Hope this helps.
