i can remember once at the uksf a caster called hamish fisher, on starting to turn to hit the rod he started to fart not quietly either it was like thunder so ofcourse the next cast he was greeted with[ GO ON GET IT FARTED ] [ AND THAT MUST HAVE BEEN AT LEAST TWO FARTY ] GOOD TIMES

just remembered one a lad called peter black used to wear a white glove when casting so he was nicknamed michael for obvious reasons on turning to hit the cast dragged the lead into the bottom and promptly wrapped the shock leader round his neck never seen a bloke go as purple as he did do you remember it was on the rossal school field very funny to see

do you remember the thin tall lad, -- fixed spool down butt.-loooong drop.
he let fly at rossall casting down from the sea bank. he cracked off and every body was trying to see where it went. -- two young kids came through the gate trailing a shocker and lead and asked who it belonged to cos it landed on the beach BEHIND US . nobody claimed it.
