x cast

dont know who came up with this cast first
but keith white gave it a name of the Xcast but he was no where near the first to cast this way
what ever you want to call it be it cross tip, dead swing. Xcast . it has been around a long time it just a way of loading a rod and it gets the job done.
there are a few ways of going about the cast as there is with the pendlum.

john. a dead swing is what happens just after somebody drops through a trapdoor at a hanging. the x cast is an ex cast when you progress into the y cast. the z cast is for when all else fails. if you want to know more about the y cast ask baz, he definately invented it.

john i could be wrong but i think the dead swing is when u push the lead away and you let it come back under its own steam you dont force it back theres that many names for a pendulum now its mind boggling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????.

Q????????. do any of these casts get any of the casters using them past 310yards. if not thens not potential for any records is there. apart from big D and kelland all the other big casts i've heard of were full pendulum ie mckellogs,paul kerry, bradley, jase's,andy green, peters. i tried both and this little swing always felt like it went miles but never really got past 255 to 260 on a good day. mind never got much further with full pendie either

hi ya bill, might of known what answer i would get off a seaham lad xyz thats a milling maching i used to work on not a pendulem cast

played out we hav,nt even started yet ,you have to try things dont you i know it dos,nt always work out like when bazz was trying summit diff and he fell on his arse hahahahaha but at least he tried, anyway martin you know yourself you can cast just as far with a soft rod as what you do with the stiff rods but most of us tend to overgun ourselves. ceramic bearings for example how many times have we been told ceramics dont gain you distance but we cant stop ourselves from trying them.personaly myself i would like to see bazz do a higher pend out of interest just like jasons and yourself martin if you had the enthusiam like bazz i think you would be clearing 300yds with the 150grm lead just my opion of course
