here goes folks ,
it was only a small turn out again as most people are on holiday.
the weatherman predicted 9mph northerly winds rising to 17mph by mid afternoon , what a bunch of liars they should be sacked .we got a tiny breeze at the start for about 10 minutes then a slight to nothing in our faces for the rest of the day .
the results are as follows
B Russell 238-1-2\"
R O,Neill 220-1-3\"
P Ingham 218-1-9\"
B Moore 199-2-7\"

Rob O,Neill is casting well at the moment and he showed me his heels at the event ,good casting Rob .
peter and john spent most of the day fly casting and plug casting I also joined in and I did quite well at the accuracy side of the casting down the centre line .
other news Billy or Belly Russell as we used to call him has been on a diet and has lost his belly he says he doesnt want to find it again. whereas I dont think that I could lose mine as its too big to lose
