North Western Surfcasting Association 26-4-09
Conditions wind 10mph S SW W NW , Dry - 34 casters.
Another well attended event by the lads from the northern belt, east and west.
The day started off great with the wind down the court, but by dinner time it was crossing the court left to right. also a struggle for a few with the grass being very long for casting, but the lads cracked on (and off) regardless!
Top smasher was Gary Blanchard, but the pinnacle of casting that I have seen is seeing little Alan Varley taking the long standing court record away from Martin Watson on the 200 grm, Martin was there to see it go, and commented They're there to be broken!
Many NCR's on the day due to the conditions changing but not the court.
