With no wind and a little rain early morning, pressure was 1004, we set the court out hoping for a Southerly breeze..but all we managed was a good soaking and no wind.Towards lunch time a court change was made when a sniff of wind came out of the North West!The day was warm and muggy with the odd deluge of rain, the conditions were the poorest they had been for a long, long time.Distances for some crept up a few yards if you were lucky enough to catch a breeze.
Despite these conditions there was actually a PB and a stonking cast it was from Gaz Welch who showed us all up on the last cast of the day. John Brimblecombe did the same with his last cast and shot up into 2nd place leaving the rest of us trailing in his wake.Josh Evans, who won the day, had his best cast in the very dreary conditions in the morning much to everybodys

Alan Melrose.Lloyd Shawcross.Len Fern,Andy Hughes and Lincoln Turner turned up to try the oche out for the first time. Terry Jenner who was in the area came along and sampled the delights!!
