heads up lads,we casting again this sunday at kirkleatham show field, usuall kick off time around 9.00am , as always setting up the court and help organising always appreciated.
Bulk spools of Viz line available and sinkers if needed available to purchase off Bob Collins.
For us newbies, what's the day all about? Charges to get in etc??
Events start at 9.00am till 5.00pm. we ask endlessly for all casters be on the field before 9.00am as to secure the entrances.
Line and leaders must be high visibility (to aid crack off recovery and public safety).
Running line; 0.35mm for 175/200gm
0.31mm for 150gm
0.28mm for 125gm

Shock leader;0.75mm for 150/175/200gm

These line diameters are minimum sizes for each lead so if you wanted to turn up with just 0.35 mm and 0.75 mm shockleader you could cast any size lead .
Lines and leaders should be available at any local tackle dealer or from myself on behalf of the club on the day .
Sinkers- DCA and UK hooks 100/125gm ect are to be used for tournament casting. imperial weighted sinkers ie 5oz/6oz are not
