hi paul, my two friends are trying to organise casting comps at kirkleathem field they think the earliest dates would be may ,if i hear of any dates i will post straight away i am just trying to help a liitle. can you attend why not i believe you can cast good plus it is open for anyone to cast ,one of the lads who is organising it is a casting instructor plus there will be other instructors there good for anyone wanting to learn everyone welcombe i would of though experienced and beginners.if i get and any newcomers are there and wanting any help i would give them what little knowledge i know, casting comps are a good day out socialble /swapping gear seeing new gear etc,best place to learn pendulem casting in my opion is going to the events plenty of people willing to help and the person anybody would laugh at is me. anyway see you there paul no prob

well will powell who was trying to organise it has lost interested fed up with getting nowhere with council,i was just trying to give info out and see if there was an interest,all hope is not quite lost because a farmer i know says he could have a couple of fields free. if anyone has any ideas ie fields to use just please post thanks john

hi john, so it looks unlikely to come off in redcar then!
which area are the farmers fields that you were on about?
will there be any good casters there do you think.i think i need a few tips on where i'm goin wrong, perhaps the rod or reel is wrong set up.
are there any good instructors in this area or are they all down south

hi m8 the farmer i know is at seaham some of the lads reckon the field would not be big enough i dont know, going to ring the farmer soon as i do think there is lots of interest,as i said if anyone knows of any ares to hold casting day or event or whichever you want to look at it please let me know, if you learn how to improve yourself like you said you would like to please come along and show me what i am doing wrong, i know a few instructors and good casters and most are willing to help, down redcar area they will be starting to cast down there on a thursday night after this week i think and sunday morns there are some very good casters down there and i cant see them not helping my friend norman stevens down there is a casting instructor and someone i would strongly recomend to learn off if you want to improve you have to put the effort in.
ANY IDEAS FORTHCOMING FOR LARGE FIELDS TO CAST IN
