Might just be me but anyone noticed a decline in the quality of chinese meals. Personally I reckon it's the generation taking over from the originals who actually lived in china, most of these new guys, 2nd generation, just aint got the same skill as the originals. Any thoughts?

Started making my own after being bought a (massive) Wok by the wifes friend (and much nicer) than the ovepriced equivalent from round the corner)
Current (and best recipe) is 5 Spice Marinade comprises:
5 Spice Powder - 1/2 tsp
Crushed Garlic - 2 or 3 cloves
Chilli Flakes - 1 tsp
Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
Oil (been using chilli oil) 1bsp
Juice of 1 lime or lemon
Honey - 2 tsp
Salt and pepper
Mix all above and marinade the meat overnight or longer for best results
I actually doubled the measures for tonights tea as once the meat has been fried off you can bulk out the sauce with the rest of the marinade
Done this with pork and chicken so far - gonna try King Prawns next
Tonights tea was served with stir fried noodles and bean sproutsOoh a new vid!
