I didn\'t miss it, Jonny..........and thanks for what you say.

I did make a bit of a \"sentimental\" post in response last night...........but I deleted it thismorning.
Although my post is gone - the sentiment remains the same, m8.

            See ya PMs

WHAT DOES THAT COUNT FOR REALLY?
dont know where to begin with that one Tony.
It counts for a lot to a lot of people.
a bit of friendly rivalry. a chance to meet all the new friends you,ve made on NESA.
a bit of pride for the south when we win it AGAIN.
a good laugh at the north when they lose AGAIN.
A legacy to leave the next generation after we are gone.
Another part of NESA which a lot of members cant do without.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.

Agree think theres a lot of sentiment tied to that trophy be it laughter or pride and thats after only a year.
I enjoy the get togethers, putting faces to names etc long may it continue and well done tony on the idea of it like many nesa ideas very unique and as I think nesa will be around for many years think the competition will grow.
                    as will the southsides heeds

It counts for a lot. I would never have entered a fishing comp but I had no intention of missing the N v S even though the weather was terrible. Through the comp I have made so many new friends and learned so much.

                        Oh Heck.............What \'ve I started.......?........lol

What I meant was..........in the context of job security, family, health, well-being, etc.........the NvS trophy doesn\'t matter 1 jot - it\'s just a silver plate.
I fully accept that in the context of pride, being part of a team and all the camoradery which that entails, IS a consituent part of being \"happy\" on NESA.........however, weighing up the \"family\", \"health\", \"well-being\" and \"job security\" aspects against \"happiness on NESA\".................I know which is the more important to me.

Christ that sounds morose, dunit??...........didn\'t mean it to be !

Of couse the Tyne Challenge Trophy is important............but in its\' context.

I fully accept that in the context of pride, being part of a team
depends what team you where on lol,but yes tony i agree ,even though ive no idea what im agreeing with ,brain overload lack of food

it was a well thought out comp and nicely managed and has brought nesa members closer all be it through a bit of friendly rivalry which is as it should be but family and health come first

                            sod work
                            cheers Bri

Good to be back and great to see things are starting to happen regarding the site update , Jim\'s back next week as he had three weeks in Turkey instead of our measly two ,nbot that I\'m jealous like .
I agree with a lot of what has been said lads ( apart from the South team winning again ) .
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......
