    can anybody tell me a courier that takes rods ive tried all over and cant get anybody to take it because its over 1.5 meters ffs!

    try asking one of the fishing tackle shops that sell on line, game fishing supplies in morpeth might help, ian is good lad

        There is no consistency at Post offices about what they\'ll take.

        Most offices will refuse to take a rod with a long tip, but at the sorting office at Alnwick you can post any length rod you want.

        This is probably due to Hardys and Greys sending and recieving lots of rods, and to lose their custom would mean a big loss of revenue.

          must say ive tried everywhere paceline and so on they all say they have a 1.5 mtr limit

                          pmsl there the only ones i didnt try anyway im driving over there now and zippy if you want me to drop that rod for you let me know i will be in from about 5pm onwards on friday, if im not in leave the rod at number 1 not 3 because shes scary at no3 ill see if i can get a piccy show you what i mean
