  • Rugby World Cup 2015 Comes to Sid James'

Fixtures and venues announced yesterday and the NE are getting three matches (lucky us eh?):

Saturday October 3 South Africa vs Scotland

Friday 9 October New Zealand vs Tonga

Saturday October 10 Samoa vs Scotland

Tickets go on sale some time next year but I'll definitely be looking at going to NZ vs Tonga and depending on how much of a rip-off the ticket prices are SA vs Scotland.

Shame the SOL missed out but then again Sid James' is a lot easier for me to get to from Durham than Sunderland so it will make the games much more enjoyable (if you get my drift )

Aye and 17 in London. Totally ridiculous and just typical of the Rugby board.

To be fair I don't think they've done too bad by you Sweaties. Two games in Newcastle and one in Leeds are pretty easy to get to from north of the border and I can see a cracking crowd for the Saffer game.

Agree overall though, 17 games in London and another 6 in Cardiff compared to just three in the NE is a bit crap.

Will all the fans be expected to leave as soon as it's 0-3?
              Cheers, Keith.
