A sobering thought.........
In the season 2002/2003, Sunderland accumulated a total of 19 points.
In the season 2005/2006, Sunderland accumulated a total of 15 points.
Adding the total points together of when Sunderland were last in the Prem league comes to a total of 34 points.
In the 2005/2006 season, Birmingham finished 3rd bottom of the prem league, with 34 points.
It took Sunderland TWO seasons to accumulate the same number of points.Comment

I\'ve got know doubts that Sunderland will go straight up into the Prem League again, come the end of next season - and it\'s where they should be.
I just hope that by then they have the right management and financial backing to enable them stay there - it\'s what their fans deserve.Comment

I watched the first Derby of the season in Turkey. Walked into the bar and ordered a beer. There were just a few in but I could hear one Geordie voice from the next table. He was having great fun talking to everyone and telling them how stupid the mackems were. He heard me talking to the waiter and assumed I was B&W. Let him rabbit on for ages and he asked me where I was from and made a comment about \"us\". It was then that I smiled and he said \"Nah Your not\". \"Yup\" with a big smile and then the crack was class. Great bloke great crack and a great drink. His Grandaughter showed him up no end about having a go before he realised who I supported.
