What a nightmare :
Boat trips - 1 cancelled, 1 aborted after 4hrs, due to weather, 2 blanks.
Shore sessions - 1 aborted after first cast due to snapped rod, 2 blanks.
Broke my glasses too.
On the plus side the caravan was beautiful, the Cresswell Arms great(met Steve Harmison), the Indian in Newbiggin was lovely and the chippie amazing. Huge cod and chips for a fiver!
Best bit of the holiday was meeting some old friends and some new ones too. All great lads, hope to see you again soon.
Very busy period with students exams coming up next month. Then time to get prepared for summer trip to Whitby, well Filey, but fishing in Whitby.
Once again I will be full of hope, whether misplaced or not!
What's that, how did Lynn get on? She caught two wee tiny fish, hardly worth a mention really!
