  • breakfast time

Well I feel as if I know this little fellow quite well now, was just getting up for breakfast this morning when the missus said the sparrow hawk is having his, but he seems to have taken a dislike to my toad, looks pain full but the toad seems to like it, was in garden for ages again and if you look closely he is starting to moult and get his adult plumage. Did get a bit of video of him but it didn’t come out to good

He must of liked what he was eating as he was back in the afternoon for almost an hour, sitting on the fence, and didn’t give a monkeys about movement or noise, had time to set up tripod and got quite a bit of video. Intend to put it all together with other video I have of other sparrow hawks, see how much I have by the end of the summer.

I was in Egypt for xmas & some type of Eagle would swoop down catching small birds at the beach each morning. Wingspan must of been about 6ft. Lovely to see, unless your a small bird of course....

Very good mate, love anything like this. Part of fishing to me is the wildlife.
