its a derby. anything could happen, how many years since they beat us at St James, probably overdue, a sadly realistic predication of 2-1 to sunderland in a scrappy game. If we are lucky it'll be honours even.

be nice to nick 3 points and put some pressure on towards their descent to their beloved 'fizzy pop league' but don't see it happening.

and FWIW, as much as I'd like to be able to rub their noses in the fizzy pop league jibes of a few years ago, the north east and football in general is better with all the NE teams in the premiership

It's the NPower championship now, don't think they do pop
I'd take 1-0 no bother and that's what I think we'll get.

Going with 2-0 but could be alot more...as many have said cant see Sunderland scoring at all but it is a derby and i am sure 100% at least 1 red card will be shown
