Very annoying

Can anyone tell me why some CD\'s play in my stereo but not through my DVD player and vise versa. There\'s no pattern with the age of discs and players ie: I\'ve got new CD\'s that play in my old stereo and old discs that play anywhere grrrrrr

embedded DMR in some cd\'s - digital media rights, the idea being to limit what you can do with em an where you can play em

...........and I thought it was my system. I might stop buying cd\'s and download mp3\'s \'till the badly done to music industry is a bit more honest with their DMR.
