was near mill damm last nigth and the big floating jetty has gone, anybody no when and why? and how LOL, the posts that it was attached to are still there with no signs if cutting and you could not slide it over the top by a crane as they was gurders attatching the post to the side of the wall.

Not too sure if the pontoon is actually owned by ST Council, but I know our Structural Engineers were involved in its installation.
I\'ll do some asking around at work to see if I can find out what\'s happened to it, Jonny.
Mind you.......you can\'t leave anything lying around down there.....it might\'ve been nicked.....lol

I found this out a couple of weeks ago, but haven\'t been able to pass it on until now......................
The pontoon was removed so that maintenance work could be carried out on it. I\'ve been told that it WILL be getting re-installed soon (it might well already have been - not been down to the Mill Dam for ages)
