Not too sure if the pontoon is actually owned by ST Council, but I know our Structural Engineers were involved in its installation.
I\'ll do some asking around at work to see if I can find out what\'s happened to it, Jonny.

          Mind you.......you can\'t leave anything lying around down there.....it might\'ve been nicked.....lol

Can anyone remember the mobile crane on the south dock at hendon Sunderland. That disappeared overnight as well.

                        Jonny,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this.

The pontoon IS owned by the Council.

The guy I need to speak to to find out what\'s happenning with it has been off for the past week or 2. When he comes back, I\'ll ask him.

                            Jonny,
I found this out a couple of weeks ago, but haven\'t been able to pass it on until now......................

The pontoon was removed so that maintenance work could be carried out on it. I\'ve been told that it WILL be getting re-installed soon (it might well already have been - not been down to the Mill Dam for ages)
