I\'ve saved up a few in between words and registered them with a Government lawyer. Apparently what I\'m saying now does not contravene my initial statement.

My advisors have also suggested that I may respectfully suggets that you are a \"Varlet\" and \"Troublemaker\" Slessor.

I stand by what I said earlier

I have nothing further to say on the matter

My lawyer also suggests I get a few things straight, Suggets do not exist yet! But the way things are going they\'ll be banned anyway before anyone gets the chance to get hurt by one.

Hats off to Mr Thompson, he is a man of many words and most of those mis-spelt, but very amusing all the same.

Smoking Ban......if this had been three years ago I would have been mightily dis-chuffed as I smoked then, but now I am happy that it has been banned. I was out on saturday and I came back smelling as if I had smoked 40 Capstan Full Strength.

Don\'t get me wrong there are times when I am out that I could quite happily nick a tab off a friend and smoke it whilst drinking a Large Jack Daniels and Lemonade, but I chose to give up just as I chose to take it up in the first place. But having worked in bar and grown up with parents working in bars aswell I can understand it from all angles.

I just wonder how they will police it.....so many bars and not enough policepersons.
                          Clare

So your attitude towards law and legislation depends on how you personally are feeling at the time Clare. When this bill comes into effect smokers cannot congretate under a roofed structure with a walls and that, anymore withgout breaking the law. An absloute pile of ****e. What\'s the problem with having smoking pubs, with smoking staff, and smoking clientele?

With an expected 34,000 drop in smokers in the North East alone expected as a result of this I have to wonder .......... where will the government generate the tax loss.
Oh by the way I\'ve never smoked and I\'m well against it because it did kill both of my parents ( how much more of a reason could you need )
P.S. Marksworld ,I bet you see a few people \" smoking \" in your job :P
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

You think they needed government control to prolong their lives then Steve.

My dad died because he worked in a paper mill handling dody chemicals, my mates died becuse they were served alcohol when they were alcoholics, many other kids have died because of illegal wars and vested interests, ban that **** as well.
