Clare I would\'nt turn my back on my country just pointing out the benifits of living somewhere peaceful
I honestly belief that the mock suicide bomber was forced to make an apology he did\'nt seem very sincere and there was alot of faces watching him and looking over his shoulder, it beats me why they were\'nt arrested.
I noticed the Iranians were rioting today as well lol bet theres a few awards at this year acting awards in Iran
    Cheers Alan...

So, have I got it right........?

It would\'ve been preferable for the police, in full riot gear, to go into the crowd and try to arrest those carrying the offensive banners - knowing that to do so would only serve to inlame the situation and probably result in a whole sale riot........which would probably lead to further whole salw riots in other UK cities and alienate the entire Muslim population of the country?

Yes, I know they did that during the poll tax riots......that\'s how they became \"riots\".........yes, Iknow that\'s what they did during the miners strike......which lead to demonstarations becoming \"riots\".........yes, I know they waded in during the hunting demos..........

BUT.......do you think there are \"mining fundamentalists\" or \"fox hunting suicide bombers\" who would go on, as a result of their \"riot\" to cause mass devastaion and suffering to those who didn\'t believe in their \"cause\".

Most of those on the demonstrations re. poll tax, mining closures, hunting, etc, were carrying out a peacful demonstration......very similar to those demonstrating last weekend.
Mebbies the police have learned a lesson.........find out WHO the agitators are and deal with them after the event.

i do agree with both el and tony, but what i was trying to say is that if you were a normal white british law abiding citizen doing what happened the other day there would have been arrests, i would put money on it. i am not racist in any shape form or manner but i\'m sorry if this causes offence but we have to get tough on this so called loving race. it was just a cartoon at the end of the day, in have had the p**s taken out of me most my life and still smile

              cheers

Mock Bomber = Convicted Crack Cocaine Dealer (Street name Skinner and selling for an Islamic cause) has been put back in prison for breaking his parole conditions and will now have to serve his full term (however long that may be)

If he\'d been leaving the pub with a chair leg concealed in a Placcy bag he would have been shot dead!
Met must think it\'s all right to go about dressed the way he was.

I see what you\'re saying regarding police in riot gear Tony BUT, what if that lad HAD been packed full of explosives and the police hadn\'t stepped in? Potentially hundreds dead and the police would get the blame because they had done nothing. Besides, there wouldn\'t have been any need for the police to be dressed in riot gear.

By the looks of national opinion, I\'m not alone in thinking that it should have been stopped there and then. Imagine how the relatives of the people of died on 7/7 and 9/11 felt when they seen these scum blatantly flouting the catastrophies and promising more!! Thats beyond the realms of common decency and something this country values. Muslims, ALL muslims , should respect that.

I wish everyone could live in peace, and the softly softly approach would work, but quite obviously it doesn\'t. This country, sorry, the people who run this country, need to start to come down hard on the scum which cause hurt and suffering to the law abiding citizens of this country. If they\'re too scared too, they should pass over the reins to people who aren\'t, and there are plenty of them.

                                Agree totaly Davy,

Problem was, he was wearing a harness with wires and batteries to simulate high explosives and not a heavy coat in the hight of the summer jumping a metro barrier carryimg a volt meter.

Wonder if this thread has been picked up yet by Mark\'s pal across at Menworth, It will have now.
