with the departure of graham souness who will be the next manager of newcastle united.do you think that freddy spencer helps the club by going on the way he does ,talking about players behind there back.newcastle as a club have some of the best supporters in the world and deserve better,the team has let themselves and the supporters down big time and only a few are putting the 100%effert that is needed.lets hope it all works out well for them all and they become a club to be recokened with on the field.

Its alledgedly costing the club £3m to £4m to pay him off it would cost the club £20 plus if they go down,they\'ve got nowt to lose by sacking him.Shepherd has had his problems but he and the board have always provided funds for the managers,Souness spent £48m plus on players

Why give him a contract like this in the first place. I\'m sure if me or you asked for a clause like if you want to sack me you have to give me 5 years wages before I go, we\'d be shown the door before the interview ended.

One of the problems with Newcastle fans is they are to loyal, if Shepperd and his crew put 11 monkeys out on the field, 20,000 would still turn out to watch them. (That is apart from the 11 monkeys they are playing at the minute)
