Hi all!
ive just finished watching Ade in britain on ITV1 from this afternoon
and what a really enjoyable program it is!
Adrian Edmunson travels the country looking at different regions
traditions and foodmaking!
he was in the north east this episode and did salmon and trout
netting off blyth beach! glass blowing at sunderland and learnt
how make pease pudding and stotties!!!
then he finished up making floddys with the backworth
brass band!!
its great to see the north easts traditions and heritage
on display for all to see!!
it makes you proud!!

took me a few moments to adjust to the northumberland tones
such a rich tapestry our region has mate
