    Camera, tripod, torch, small aperture, bracket exposures between 30 seconds and 2 minutes........there you go.

    Oh yes......there\'s the \"subject\" ofcourse and the \"composition\"

        Very possibly, Alan - however......
        about 6 or 7 years ago, there was an exhibition of very similar photographs doing the rounds. The exhibition was called \"Out of the Darkness\" and again, featured night shots taken from within the caves along the So Tyneside coastline. Can\'t remember the name of the photographer, but I think he was from up around the Borders area.

        The photographs showed the cave interiors illuminated with different coloured lights and were done with VERY long exposures. The view outside the cave showed the trails left by the stars during the long exposures.

        That seems around the time that I seen a exhibition very similar to these !
