Great Photos Alan,
I love watching the Eiders up at Seahouses when I'm up at the van. They make a very soothing sound when they're together....a sort of gentle whooping call. There's quite a few in the harbour and around the "tumblers".
The locals call them "Cuddy Ducks" after the name of "St Cuthbert" who liked the ducks so much he imposed a protection order on them.
