  • What else to do when the seas bubbling

Just a thought really, whats anyones \"Other\" hobbies or pastimes whilst the weather keeps you away from fishing ... ?

Just a little snippet here of mine, it`s another forum I visit, take a look at the section \"The building site\" in particular the threads \"scratch built sports model\" and \"scratch built sports model thread 2\"

    http://www.flyingsites.co.uk/forum/index.php

    This is what it`s all about . . . . . . . .

however read the threads for more in depth info ...

    so . . . . . whats your \"other\" pastime ?

        Norman,

that\'s a great read on the two threads in the forum link.

I knew you were into flying them but not to this extent

        Great stuff,

There is a place just opened up opposite us on Queen Alexandra Road in North Shields, I\'m not sure what he stocks but I have seen a plane similar to the one you bult in his window along with engines and the like.

Give me a shout if you want some flying pics done and we\'ll meet up

        Cheers

        Marc.

Cheers Marc, yeah sure come and take some pics sometime.
Alan, yes thats right, at meggies burn.

I did the online build bit because most of todays models are the ARTF (almost ready to fly) kits that require limited if any building skills and I though I ought to show how to build from scratch to own design LOL as it used to be years ago when I first got interested
