Anybody listen to an internet radio station when they\'re on the \'net?

If so, send me the link to the station and I\'ll add it to the new \"Internet Radio\" section of the weblinks.

I came accross a Wisconsin based station (\"9412\"), thisafternoon. They were playing some great stuff. I e-mailed the station with a \"request\" and it was played almost straight away.

I use iTunes for music, and it has a huge number of radio stations in there already. broken down into categories - metal, rock, jazz, blues, punk, God (yes God) etc etc and loads of podcast channels

works on mac or PC, its free and beats all the other mp3/playback musicy things I\'\'ve tried hands down

    Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

I don\'t get a chance to listen much to internet radio, but I do listen to wireless radio about 3 to 4 hours a day. I have recently upgraded the car radio to DAB and the available stations above and beyond FM is great. Depending on the time of day, I like BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5, 6 Music, BBC Radio 7, Virgin, Planet Rock, Jazz, Classic Gold. But given that the technology exists, why have we not got in car digital satellite receivers available here yet. The free to air radio stations available on the Sky Astra satellite is as long as your arm and the sound quality implementation is better than DAB. Hey, you can buy a TV set top box and dish from about £100, but I haven\'t seen any Digital Satellite/ICE here yet.
