Idiot? well maybe, but there\'s hundreds of thousands of em out there, none of em equipped to deal with what happens when you get shot to stardom that way. Self Inflicted? probably. But I\'d like to bet there\'s a large percentage of people out there, and in here that suddenly, having that amount of fame and fortune thrust on em, go a bit wobbly.

for all his faults, one thing he alsways was was comitted to the game when he was on the park, good or bad. Rash, or over-enthusiastic.

i agree with most of the posts that have been put on. i used to to think he was a good player in his day but what anoyed me about him is he\'s never grown up and also did he not used to hit his lass, that in my eyes is one of lowest things aman can do

I remember that Ollie, it was on a compilation the BBC done of Gazza at half time during the 3rd place play off between England and Italy in Italia 90 (still got it on tape). Bob Wilson and Ray Wilkins couldn\'t speak highly enough of him either.
