Steve, don't get caught up watching weather sites, it will drive you insane!

Take it from a guy who checks the sites (all of them) about 5 times a day in the week running up to us fishing in the NE!!

Magic Seaweed and Met Office seem reliable, but I don't believe they can accurately predict local weather, especially wind.

Met office app for Android. Has hourly radar pictures wind speeds rain, the lot on a map overlay, plus saved location forecasts and it's free

This one, very good and very accurate.

It includes atmospheric pressure too which I'm a big believer in.
                Does anyone follow moon phases?

The two I use are xc weather and Netweather.tv - Weather forecasts, news and information for the UK

netweather have called the winter forecast spot on so far. They released a seasonal forecast in late Novemebr predicting a cold start to December then from mid December to mid January milder than average and wet. Mid January to early February a very cold spell with some significant snow. So like I said, spot on.

Magicseaweed are usually pretty good for surf and swell heights because they factor in what is going in the north north sea that feeds into our sea states
