is that your lad trying to get the rest of the share holders to sell the stadium of light to keep sunderland from the drop
fk me if they sold the whole of sunderland they wouldnt magic that

yes sless thats my dad, the ideas not as far fetched as some people think, the stadium of light has just been valued at £85milion. it would be a good investment for say a financial institution who would lease it back to the club. the £85million raised could wipe out the £40million debt and the money saved on repayments and interest would go a long way to paying the rent. there would be a surplus of over £40million for team strengthening.
not an ideal situation but in our present prediciment it should at least be viewed as an option. it has already been done by other clubs both at home and abroad.
