Was wonderin what strange bands you have been to see or heard of ...
Used to work with a lad who insisted on playing faster pussycat and rhino bucket whilst working lol both of which wern\'t to bad actually
One that springs to mind straight away is Blodwyn Pig.
Formed in 1968 by Mick Abrahams (who\'d previously formed Jethro Tull along with Ian Anderson).
Anderson wanted to go more down the folk/rock road, but Abrahams wanted to stick to the more traditional blues, so quit Tull. I suppose \"financially\" wise it was a bad move - musically wise - he made the right choice in my opinion.
Seen \"Bessie and the Zinc Buckets\" a few times in the Mermaids Tail (or whatever it\'s called now), cracking local band from South Shields. Got there name from a sketch in a comic called \"Jerka\" which was produced by another local band from Shields called the letters.
Tony form Alnwick....Do you know Kev Aitman? He lives next door to me now....His two oldest lads are in a band and are really good. Although it\'s Indie stuff which I\'m not really into they can sing and play.
"And I looked, and behold'a pale horse; and his name that sat on him was death, and hell followed with hi, and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword and with hunger, and with the beasts of the earth"
saw buthole surfers at reading rock festival in 89, one of the worst bands iv\'e ever heard, but strange bands i have seen were GWAR, king kurt, green jelly and the mac lads in the good old days.
mark when did the sultans get back together and do you know of any tour dates, just iv\'e mellowed a little and have gone back to listening to skynyrd and stuff like them
