Can you still buy Double Maxim? I used to drink it in vaux pubs and if you wern\'t careful it would blow your cap right off.....\"the ruin of many a young man\" ! I learned my lesson the hard way with the rocket fuels and steer clear of them unless it\'s just a quite 1 or 2.

There\'s a shop in Jesmond (forgot the name but just off the Cradlewell bypass) that\'s got a snidey back room full of imported beers. Well worth checking out but a bit pricey.

My fav. is Jever pils (North Germany) but cant buy it in England.

lol davy oh yes that\'s right ,by the way can you still get Samson ,I used to drink a few pints of that a few years back .Graham I\'ve been in that shop ,quite a range eh !

Yes I think the ex managers bought the copyright and started producing it,its normally in supermarkets
