Hugely over-rated imho.
He just seems to be the \"in thing\" at the moment.
OK as a comedy writer, but have you seen him trying to be funny without having had it all written down previously........funny?......NOT.
I doubt if he could \"ad-lib\" anything remotely funny.
He did a set at the Live8 concert......sang Amarillo.........couldn\'t think of anything funny to say after that (he was dying)......ended up singing Amarillo for a second time - end of set.

See him ad lib on Parkinson twice and my opinion hasn\'t changed. The blokes very funny IMHO
OK as a comedy writer, but have you seen him trying to be funny without having had it all written down previously........funny?......NOT.
