10mb is fantastic if the server you\'re linked to and the network it\'s on can support it - often it doesn\'t so you don\'t get anywhere near full benefit from it. What it does let you do is perform multiple online tasks (surfing, check email and downloads) all at the same time, which is nice

Just wish they would drop the £25 per month to say £18!

Like you say Mike, why not drop the price instead of the free upgrades, i have 1 meg already and i am going upto 2meg.i dont download a lot of stuff so i dont need it and for surfing its no quicker its all down to the servers ( had that from the horses mouth) telewest call operator. i should cancle my account and get a £17.99 basic broadband account from them as thats going up to 1 meg as well.

Gordon the £17.99 deal is gonna be 2MB, for £25 you\'ll get 4MB, seems a bit daft to me, at the moment I\'m paying £25 for 1MB so if I can get 2MB for less money they\'re gonna loose money!
                    Cheers, Keith.

I`m finally going from dial up to broadband.

We haven`t got cable access up here, so we`re limited, but I`ve found that Demon are offering 2 meg, unmetered for £19.99 a month.

Anyone else use Demon, or know anything about it?

                        Any help appreciated.
