Well i am a toon fan but i must say Sunderland are going to do crap as there team is no way able to last in the prem and Newcastle will be lucky if they finish in the top half this season unless they get at least 2 new strikers and defend a goal lead.

        Scarborough 3 - 0 Sunderland lol
Richy, that was Sunderland U19s, Sunderland won 1-0 against AZ Alkmaar, UEFA Semi finalists last year.

Tony, well done mate, at least you still go to the matches.

Well once again no goals and worse still, if you add all the shots we have had on goal in the last 3 games, it\'s still not as many as Man U had in there last game.

I look at the prem and cant see us beating any of the teams in it, going down for sure this season unless we get 1 left back,1 centre.d 2 strikers and a left winger...also a new manager that has respect from the players so that they will play for him not just turn up.

14TH is looking good about now, only plus side is at least we wont be bottom, Sunderland have claimed that spot.

I was at the first (home) match (West Ham) . . . . . . . . . dismal performance, no where near the arsenal game the only bit of excitement was the ref having to talk to linesman and then raising the red card.

But I got to say, funniest comment of all came from a couple of aged fans sitting behind me at about 3.30 almost 30mins into the game when one said to the other \" Aye Geordie, must be one of those 4.00pm kick offs\" how right he almost was.
