anyway managed to get him safely back to the car he was in a right state, opened the car door and he jumped in without even taking his chest waders off, had traveled about 2 miles had the heating on as it was a cold frosty night , started to smell dog sh$t yes your right lads the dirty b$stard had filled his chesties with diahorea and thats the true version of the story
I saw something similar coming off the 1st Gulley at Seaton Point. Something about the size of a dog in the bushes on the bank when I had low beam on my head torch I could just make out the outline and the glow of the eyes. Put my bait bucket down (full hands you see) to turn my my headlight to full beam and it was gone...Without even the rustle of a leaf!

Also saw a puma like animal coming back from Beadnell one night, seemingly waiting patiently to cross the road on the straight toward Newton!

Have also seen fighter jets chasing lights across the sky that they could not keep up with!

Never seen a ghost on me travels but witnessed them as a kid growing up at the Fishing Boat Inn at Boulmer

Hi mate long time no speak....

Aye...I've lived around the countryside all me life, could tell you virtually every plant and animal in the UK and abroad and this was deffo NO Fox.....unless it was in a Puma fancy dress outfit.

Tilly....went to Chillingham Castle about 12 years ago for a mates wedding....I only felt it was spooky because I knew of its reputation....Saw and felt nothing compared to what I experienced as a kid at the FBI!

aye its been a while, Nearly almost packed the winter fishing in altogether as i was getting disheartened with it and costing to much, fishing anything from 3 to 5 times a week with sometimes little to show. Mostly summer fishing now up past eyemouth but not much this summer, it's been crap weather. You keeping good mate?
The only thing/things that scare me are the devil sheep with their eyes at craster on a dark night.

a amte of mine was fishing the rock ends at Cullercoats, looking to the north he saw a light on North Crab Hill going back and forwards from the fishing spot to where you leave tour gear, thinking to himself he must of got on early and thinking he would give it another cast where he was before going to join him. Making his way over the rocks to North Crab, there is only one way over he could still see the light, when he got to where you leave your gear, NOTHING.
