Lot\'s of people are saying they ain\'t going to have an ID card. That is fine as long as they are not wanting a passport cos they WILL be linked.
You want a holiday abroad you get one, stay at home and fight them. Won\'t matter as has been said eventually they will get their money for it.
As I have said I don\'t mind carrying one for the right reasons, just don\'t like big brother watching me.

Tattoo the little b***ards faces with \'thief\' \'bully\' \'lout\' etc if they\'re caught. If they can\'t respect people or the law, why should we respect them or their rights.

But two Q spring to mind, what if you do not buy one & if the Governement wants everyone to have one why do they not pay for them.

ID cards or not, what happens when they catch the nutters, rapists, terrorists and murderers etc? There\'s a huge brigade of non productive do-gooders screaming \"more rights for the nutters etc\" and they\'re getting them. What about the perverts who are let out of prison because the do-gooders say they are no longer a threat to society. They get re-located and new ID\'s so they can live a normal life!! Will they have to pay £170 everytime they need protecting from the families of their victims? I think not.

Get rid of the do-gooders, get tough on the nutters ect. and there\'ll be no need for ID cards
                  Regards, Graham

Oblickta, thats what i mean this human rights lark has gone to far, what about the human rights of the victum, to me when some one breaks the law (and i dont mean silly speeding offences) they to me have forgone thier humna rights. Perverts/rapists/child molesters/murderers=castration or hanging. Life should mean life to hell with these Oh my client was beat up in the cells so you can not prosecute him for murdering those children, give the beasts a beating every day (make sure they are guilty)

human rights gone too far - if thats the case then let all the children around the world die, who cares about everything else. I\'m alright jack, the environment **** it, other peoples misery brought about by our past actions, **** em, all those people locked up with no charge and no recourse to any sort of justice, **** em, all those countries that regularly torture and mutilate their people, give em a helping hand, cos human rights have obviously gone way too far

Thses are exactly the people the human rights charter should be vigourously used to help. Not the criminals who use it to get away with what they have done. That is what i mean by going to far.

Have just read a letter in the Sunday paper ( Mirror ) regarding I.D cards and the saying \" if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about\"
The letter asks those who use that saying as an argument for I.D.cards.
As 80% of domestic violence happens in the bedroom would they object to the police or government putting camera,s in thier bedrooms to prevent domestic crime?
After all, if you have nothing to hide, you,ll have nothing to worry about.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible,
but P*****g everyone off is a piece of cake.
