Well what can you say, at least the forwards competed this week and got about an even sahre of the ball and gave the scrum half something to work with, but unfortunately after that, well think we need a fly half andd acouple of centres then we might see the wings get some ball.
One defineing moment for me was with the lions 7-0 up and the All Blacks panicing Paul O\'Connell gave adaft penalty away a couple of yrad out when a Lions try looked a cert. Found some of the All Blacks tactics dubious, taking out players and just obstructing others to put them out fo their stride, South Africa use this tactic a lot as well. A very vigilant ref what have disallowed two All Balcks trys. But you can not take it away from the All Balcks they played some subllime rugby.

Off to Tynemouth RNLI day, anyone interested it starts about 11am

certainly did a good job but all those once the ball left his hands could of had a bucketful of trys once. Interesting to see if Ian McGeehan has anything o say about the tour and selection when they have returned home, being a brilliant coach and motivator. Bet like an honourable man he will say nothing to the press.

Well it was close and to me a lot closer than the score line. Simply because i think both the all blacks first tries should have been disallowed, the first for a pull back on Mark Cueto off the ball and the second, although the stamp on Wayne Peel looked accidental and may have been a foul even if accidental is still a foul. i.e accidental offside, obstruction, especially when the player is impeded while trying to stop a try. By that reckoning we nearly won had it not been for a late try. But me thinks we need to look at the way we paly, a third choice fly half had more skill and ideas than our three top fly half put together. We are so predictable, the All Blacks knew what the lions where going to do all the time, if we are frightened to try anything there is little hope.

Like give it to the forwards and drive....thats all we had. Cueto never had a sniff, but he\'s in good company

They knew that was coming, but could not stop it. The Aussies have just proved that tactic dosnt work. They where out weighed 6kg a man in the pack in the match straight afterwards against South Africa, they just ran them round the park until they where knackered.
