    areet ladds need some info and feed bk on the above reel?would it be possible to use the reel over rough ground

    Ive owned the 525 mag2 and hated it i dont think tey have anywhere near the build quality as the original mags so i wouldnt use it over rough ground

    Thats me personally though

      ive googled the reel and read the reviews on them and alot of anglers have used them over rough ground without any problems...

        The 515 is far too small for rough ground - only really any good with lines up to about 12lb (or 15lb if you're not chucking very far). They hold less line than an Abu 6500. If those reviews are by south-coast anglers, remember their idea of rough ground is little more than bumpy sand lol!!).

            yeah 515 deffo not rough ground reel and build quality is rubbish compaired to the original made in usa 525s

              Get a 535 or a Slosh30 if you don't want to break your 515

                  slosh 30 better reel for hard ground all day 515 far to soft just my opinion

                    The bairn uses a 515 it casts nice and retrieve is smooth but 15 lb line is its max stick with 535 or slosh 30 or a saltest
