  • sausage sandwich game

    hi ladsthe perfect sausage sandwich is it brown sauce,tomato ketchup,or no sauce at all,looking to bring a load of bangers from a north east butchers back down south for a function,any lads recommend a local butchers up there who do canny sausages that i can bring back down and freeze,looking at about 300,im up there fishing next week and would like some ideas,will be driving up in november to collect some real ale and local produce,any ideas welcome
    sometimes i sits and thinks,but thinks better whilst sitting on a rock fishing

    theres a butchers in east boldon along from the sleepers pub next to the metro station who has been in the local papers for winning awards for his sausages

        sausage

        theres only one place for sausage morisons.their best thick pork is quite expensive but i wont eat any sausage but these
        old anglers never die -they just smell that way

          Brown sauce for sausages. Red for Bacon...fact!

            Robs in blandford street in town centre are the best,but if you want 300 you will have to order them.

                    been keeping real ales for years mate,unfortunately its a dying art,directors more or less a national brand......love the sound of the worky ticket though,theres a paticular geezer down here with a few quid in his pocket who i have christened"worky ticket bugger lugs"always fannying about,the lads who are in on the joke would get a real giggle out of it,he still doesnt understand my accent so doesnt realise the urine been extracted

                      Aye it's a canny pint mate, sometimes morrisons have it in but not always. Be aware though it aint called worky ticket for nothing, when some guys have had a gallon of it they start working their ticket hence worky ticket

                        aye lad,there was a story alot of years ago about newcy brown,the lads will put me right on this but a judge in newcastle in the 1930s i think ordered the abv on newcy brown to be lowered to 5.5%.he was the special judge on a saturday morning who dealt with all the lads who had kicked off on the friday night,a smart young defence lawyer had been using the fact that is was the newcy brown that had been making them fighting drunk,the magistrate got angry about this and made it law to lower newcy browns strength,
