  • Big problem.

I have a problem if any one can help......?
I have a citroen Ds3 few month old and I'm not aloud to use it for bait fishing but I have twisted her arm to let me use it for spinning and here is the the problem..... It has a very nice black shiny dashboard like the surround on a flat screen tv and I have scratched it right in front of the passenger seat with my rod tip any one got any suggestions to try and remove the scratch before my lass removes my balls with a blunt spoon.

    Cheers Danny.

Just blame her. Tell her if she had let you use it for bait fishing in the first place then there would never have been a scratch lol......then run like f.......

I would take it to a car valet garage, they'll know exactly what to use and shouldn't charge you much for a scratch, price of a couple of pints I would of thought

distressing as the situation is on the grand scale of things its nowt

its only a car and can be repaired this unfortunate incident opens the door for you to have a fishing car

if its the dashboard that is scratched use the handle of a screwdriver or another plastic tool and rub it gently flattening the scratch back down, a pencil eraser also works a treat. As for sorting the wife i aint got a clue!

just looked at a pic of your dash on the net regardless of colour if you wet your finger with water or your own saliva and wipe it over the scratch and it disappears it will normaly burnish out but if the scratch has gone right threw it will have to be painted again

you were on your way to ( insert destination )

and seen her ( mother, father, friend, old lady)

                          struggling with some shopping bags....

so you offered them a lift.......

they just dropped their (bag, coat, keys..etc) on the dash...

cheeky buggers never said anything about it/ never noticed untill later...
