Think I read about someone on the Barnsley FC forum recieving a similar email. Think it\'s just something going around. Chopping their hands off would sort it!

\"Annoying\" to say the least, David

Thankfully, after having so much crap sent to me over the years, my wife KNOWS that this sort of thing happens.

That\'s why I have a separate e-mail address for NESA stuff - as you know, I also have several private ones, which I don\'t publish on the \'net.

If you (or anybody else) wants to hide their e-mail address from public viewing on NESA, go to your profile and uncheck the option \"Make e-mail address viewable by others\"

never publish your email openly, anywhere on any site ever

the spammers have wee bits of sofware similar to the search engines that run around the net hoovering up any \"mailto:\" links

if you want to let folks know an email address, falsify it with an expmantion of how to make it valid in your signature

              ie

              mark@THEFISHebgb.net

remove THEFISH to make the address valid

the spammers will still hoover up the address but it just won\'t work, unless you manually remove the false bit, which they would never do

in the early days dropping something like NOSPAM into your address worked, but they got wise to that as evertone used the same thing, so make your falsification a bit unique to you

at one point I was a 300 a day man!
