AND I come to the NE 3 times a year, stay in a caravan, cannot understand the lingo, get out-fished fished by Lynn most trips, get slagged off by the Skippers, and when Lynn and I went up to the bar in the Ship Inn, I ordered a pint of real ale and the barman said "Now what can I get you for the lady?" and I said, "that is for the lady!!"..............and you say I don't have a sense of humour !

What can I tell you, I'm a cheapskate..............£78 for a week at Crimdon Dene on the Sun Holiday deals. Lynn made me buy the Sun for 10 straight days to save up the tokens. Because Scotland's School holidays start before England's do, Summer and Autumn we get it for silly money. Easter Holidays are the same in both countries though, so had to pay £198 at Easter, nearly died of shock
Seriously though under £200 for 7 nights in a "Gold" caravan is still amazing value for two people. A home from home.
Think 7 nights B&B !
Caravans rock............as long as you don't go to the bar, or the "evening entertainment"......................a contradiction in terms
